Hi Simon. I have a distinct Christmas movie memory about The Nightmare Before Christmas. That movie was a favorite among my friends, and it was a kind of cover for me as I desperately tried to live a life in the closet. Whenever I needed to flirt with a boy, I just went on and on about Tim Burton's masterpiece. That kept any flirtatious boys safely at arms length and helped me look interested. It helped that the movie was genuinely a favorite and helped me feel a lot less like a misfit toy.
