I find this push to get humans out of the writing equation so confusing. Isn't that the point of writing - that it's human? I have no interest in anything a bot or algorithm has to say because it's only, as you pointed out, recreating what already exists in other books. These are not writers but thieves posing as creators. It's so depressing. Don't we want AI to do other things like file taxes or some other boring thing? I don't understand why we're giving it our creativity and art. Why?
