I had an interesting experience with this film. I saw it in the movie theater with a mix of men and women and after the viewing we realized we all had wildly different experiences. I saw a movie about two bored white dudes watching TV and smoking. My male friends saw love, bonding, and heroism. Thanks for giving me a little more insight into that disparity of opinion. Pieces like this inspired me to write about film, so thanks for that, too!
